I'm so tired of people saying Machida is getting the shaft if he wants a title shot start finishing fights and fight a top ten guy. Hell Chuck or any one else could be undefeated if they fought the guys Machida has. Only in his last two fights has he fought any body worth talking about and they still are not top ten guy. Face it Machida is just starting to work his way up the ladder if he keeps it up he should get a shot. After the Thiago fight who still isn't a top ten guy he needs to fight maybe Wandy or Rampage even Rashad then he can talk about a title shot. Chuck is the only one that makes since to be next if he wins. He will have beaten two top ten guys while everyone else has just lost.

I don't think that either Silave or Machida should get a tittle fight without getting throught another top 5 opponent. either way chuck had the title for a while plus he is one exciting fighter and he is one of the most known mma fighter so for sure he is getting the tittle shot if he beats rashad

I hope that Chuck does get a title shot if he beats Rashad. Im a huge Iceman fan and want to see him the champ again more then anything else. I think Chuck will beat Rashad by KO-TKO, but u can never count out anybody.

Looking forward to UFC 88 period solid fightcard!!!

And yes....Liddell will hold the LHW title again....its just a matter of time.

This division is too stacked and he is already looking past Rashad, hes already ducked Machida a fight in which he would lose (but then again Forrest ducked him too). MMAth works for this particular situation, Forrest > Rampage > Chuck. Forrest is a terrible matchup for Chuck, Chuck wants you to be aggressive and whenever Chuck is aggressive he leaves openings for better strikers. Forrest has more fluid movements and has more technical standup, Chuck is Dana's homeboy so if he beats Rashad hes getting the next shot but fighting Forrest is an uphill battle for Chuck. I'll admit back in the day Chuck was my favorite UFC fighter but watching his last couple fights leads me to believe hes just not where he used to be and all the competition isnt what it used to be (anthoer example Matt Hughes) all this new blood coming in is going too much for him, he has made his career beating wrestlers with so/so standup. But good luck to him he needs it.

"I think it seems to make sense for (the UFC). But that's not something I concern myself with right now. I've got to get past Rashad before any of that makes any sense."

Yeah... pretty arrogant. Definitely looking right past Rashad. When you read something you seem to basically just invent your own version of what it says and then get upset or indignant about it. You also claimed I said about 10 things I didn't say in that Henderson thread. You should take the time to read what you're arguing against and understand it before you start arguing.

That's exactly my point. I didn't call your post inflammatory, nor did I "trash it" I stated a different point of view and you made up a bunch of nonsense that I didn't say. Feel free to copy paste me calling your post inflammatory if you want. That isn't what I said, you simply lack reading comprehension.
