Many industry insiders have speculated that a canceled EliteXC card scheduled for Sept. 20 in Albuquerque, N.M., coupled with a recently scrapped Cage Rage Contenders card from the U.K., signals impending disaster for EliteXC and parent company ProElite.

The biggest disgrace of this entire situation is that the next CBS card is going to draw ratings from Kimbo/Carano. So that little shot in the arm will probably prolong the suffering for an extra few months. All in all, set the over/under at Jan 1, 09. I'm taking the over, but not by much.
