Source’s close to the camp of TUF 2 winner, Joe “Daddy” Stevenson, have confirmed to Mmabay that they have been offered and accepted a fight against Kenny Florian on November 15th, likely to be UFC 91.
Mmabay can also confirm that the fight has been accepted by Florian and is most likely to be held in Boston, giving Florian the home turf advantage as he looks to bridge the gap between his last fight and a possible title shot next summer against B.J. Penn.
Stevenson himself is moving back up the title ladder. After rebounding from his disappointment at not winning the title in January, Stevenson bounced back with an impressive second round win against Gleison Tibau at UFC 86 in July.
Looks like this fight is for real.

Should be a great fight, it's hard for me to pick a winner, but I'm gonna say Florian.

I agree. Stevenson has only finished 1 fighter in his UFC career w/o the guillotine (which happened to be a doctor stoppage), and I see no way Florian gets caught in a guillotine. Stevenson always has the chance of LnP his way to a decision though.
Smart money would definitely be on Florian with even odds.

ken flo is one of my favorites but i think stevenson takes him in this one, he's too strong for kenny on the ground and he's good enough to keep kenny on his back.

That's a hard one could go either way Joe is way to big and strong but cuts real easy and we all know how Kenny is with the hell bows, so I am really looking forward to this fight. I don't see this one being a disappointment like Kenny and Roger was.

Stevenson has a similar style to Sherk so i can see him coming away with a decision on this one, but i will be picking Florian for the win...

stevenson dominates this fight, but now that bj is wanting to fight in december i wont if kenny will get a title shot instead of facing joe daddy.
