watched this show for the 1st time the other day it sparked my intrest, cuz i was a fan of the production and the way the boxing contender was filmed. . . the production made it more interesting than watching reg boxing. any way just wanted to see what others thought about the show if you have seen it.

the only thing i dont like is that they over-exaggerate the kicks

it sounds like they are slapping meat on eachother

WAR Yodsaenklai and John Wayne Parr

I dont like the way that they edit the fights and show us highlights, editing also makes it possible to make it look like one fighter is winning when they arent, or that the fight is more competitive and even than it really is. I don't like the sound effect, the "Heavy bag" sound on every kick or the slap or whip-crack noise on every kick. However, its still great to get to see guys like Naruepol and Yodsaenklai, and tough gritty fighters like JWP going at it.

Despite it's flaws, its still vastly more exciting than watching TUF. None of that jockish house trashing and confrontation, the Nak Muays are just so respectful. They argue and say they will thrash each other in the ring, but there is none of the stupid posturing and squaring up in the kitchen by the smoothie machine. I also find watching Muay Thai or pure striking far more enjoyable than watching the mostly amateurish MMA seen on TUF.

I like it, it's a good show, the only negative is how they edit the fights

I really enjoy watching it as said befor editing is dumb but all in all its a good show. Anyone else think that John Wanye Parr looks like Frank from the real world Vegas? I thought it was him when I saw the preview for the show.

Listen who saw the last episode. I was thinking some MMA fights are hard to watch. That fight with John Wayne Barr and Ranik, every single round I really had no idea who was winning. Oh my God. And I would have picked Ranik to win that fight, I thought he did more with the spinning elbow and all, and those quick knockdowns, it was not like he was hurt. Came across as a total draw. And though everyone in the house was hating on the "Frenchy Moraccan" I really liked the guy. He simpy stands up for himself what's the problem with that. By the way Im a Persian Guy, and if you met me you would think I look a lot like Ranik, that's probably why I was rooting for him so much. And that challenge they had was cool as shit. I would love to do something like that. And that girl on the show, she is so hot. Exotic amazing looking girl. I think its gonna give us some more great fights forea.
