I was using the stumble function on my tool bar, as I am bored and have nothing better to do (great time waster for those at work). Anyway, I came upon a video for a new fledgling martial art form, that is one of those borrow from all styles. It was used for the Batman films i believe and i was just wondering what everyone's opinion on it was.. Practical, Non-Practical, or just stupid.

I watched the first half without the sound and I thought it was a pretty funny martial arts spoof, but when I put the volume on I found out that they were serious.

There is nothing original or particulalry effective about what they're treaching. The same principals are taught in karate, military hand-to-hand training and general self-defense classes. I think that type of training is effective for dealing with an unmotivated, untrained opponent but there are far too many assumptions and far too little live sparring to make it applicable as an art for fighting other trained fighters.
