I would fight anyone of the UFC lightweights, but the problem is that I will never put my foot in the octagon after they (UFC) tried to be funny, I would rather have bleeding hemorrhoids than fight for the UFC.
- Joachim "Hellboy" Hansen, who was none too pleased when Zuffa bought PRIDE and tried to offer him 1/2 of his contracted salary for a fight against Marcus Aurelio.

Bleeding Hemorrhoids... harsh stuff, you know the dude aint joking.
Another low for Zuffa, very stupid for them to do something like that, but than again is nothing out of the ordinary for Zuffa. Dont know why they'd try something like that to him though, top LW, and ALWAYS exciting, bad move for the UFC.

I'm pretty sure he made news with a similar statement right after the Pride purchase...the never fight in the UFC part, not the bleeding hemroid part, that is.

If you want to fight on the biggest stage - then get in there and show why you are the best. If you are the best, the $$$ will follow.

half the money isnt that bad when you fight more than twice as much, guy needs to get over himself, he's good but he's no threat to the ufc's lw division. we'll see what tune he's singing when dream goes under.

Too bad because I would love to see him fight Marcus.
He shouldn't make statements like that though, because back then yeah maybe they tried to low-ball him. Maybe it was just an initial offer, you know that's how negotiations work. Now that he won the Grand Prix though the UFC might have thrown a nice offer his way. Instead of contacting them and seeing what he's worth to them now, he chooses to bash them instead. Way to burn your bridges.

If the man says he would never fight for the UFC, why would he not want to burn the bridge?

Never say never. It's not something he should set in stone is what I mean. It's the biggest and best MMA organization and he could be a star there, and make some real money and recieve a lot of exposure. So I don't think he should completely rule it out, especially when the organization he is currently in is in financial difficulty. Just my opinion.

Talk about burning a bridge, when Dream goes under or gets bought out.
