UFC Light Heavyweight Champ Forrest Griffin and TUF 6 Champ Mac Danzig were down in Shreveport, Louisiana earlier this week on set of the movie “I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell”. Griffin and Danzig have a small part in the film, playing cops in a movie based on the shenanigans of Tucker Max.
For those that don’t know, Tucker Max was blogging about his drunken, womanizing exploits before the phrase “blogging” even existed. He turned his stories into a book deal and now is filming a movie based on his book/stories/life by the title “I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell”

he wrote a book that was a huge hit for the college crowd, "i hope they serve beer in hell" i've read it myself and its pretty funny -- all he does is talk down on women and share his college experiences.

I have been following the movie pretty closely. Lots of info online about it. Tucker's a big mma fan and wanted fighters on the movie. From what I have read, there will also be more realistic stuff...like rear naked chokes and what not.
Anyway, I think the movie will either just flop miserably or become a cult classic. The script is awesome and very different from anything in Hollywood (a nice change of pace).

yea Forrest use to be a cop, and will be again after his carear is done. could u imagine tryin to run from him? he would catch u, release u just to catch u again without a drop of sweat.

I cant believe a guy with Machida as his avatar, the definition of class and grace, would pick a guy like Tucker Max as one of the greatest americans ever. Hes a womanizaing alcoholic. If you had kids would you pick him as a role model.
