after watching brock fight, i as i think most everyone could not help but notice how much he has improved since his first fight. i also think that if he improves that much between every fight he will be a number one contender and maybe even be the HW champ before long. i also could not help but think in year or so would he be ready to fight Fedor? i know with all his drama between dana and everyone it wouldnt happen unless he left the ufc. but i really think that fedor has not fought anyone with the amount of brute force and power that lesnar has and on top of that he has great speed. if he keeps improving, i think he could be trouble for fedor DOWN THE ROAD.
what do you think about it? ps. how many people think he was on roids while he was a "pro" wrestler? I can't help but think he was.

Lesnar isn't ready for Fedor.Maybe down the road, but not now.He showed some reserve in his fight with Herring, but he's still got holes in his game Fedor would expose. At best,if Lesnar paced the bout he might be able to negate Fedor's defense in similar fashion like Mark Hunt.I think Hunt was naturaly stronger than Fedor, and that caused some problems for him. Lesnar is a beast for only having 3 bouts, but he's a beast that can be tamed.(I know that was cheesy).Mir showed us that.

I agree, down the road when Fedor is in his middle 50's Brock may have a chance.lol. I hope that this Lesnar vs. Fedor isn't taken to seriously, Brock has big potential, but he has fought Mir, and Herring. He is 1-1 in the UFC and Fedor is Fedor.

The only reason this whole issue is getting so much attention is because of the lack of new blood at HW.
ON TOPIC: If Lesnar keeps progressing in 2 to 4 years this will be the SUPER FIGHT. Isn't fedor and Lesnar almost the same age ??

Kevin Randleman tossed Fedor on his head. Coleman had tons of problems taking Fedor down. I wouldnt expect Brock to do much more. Down the road possibly after 6 years he MIGHT have a chance but Fedor is Fedor; hes not getting subbed and no one is going to just lay on top of him. I think Brock would get RNC'd.

Fedor would be at a huge size disadvantage here. Yes, I know he was with the Choi fight, Sylvia, and that other big fat guy he layed out, but Brock has size and speed. Speed unlike any opponent of Brock's size. Fedor wouldn't have man-handled Herring that way.

have you seen the Fedor / Herring fight? It was a brutal, and Fedor finished him...
Sure Brock will get better, but I don't think that'll mean Fedor remains stagnant or gets worse... They are both about the same age....
I would like to see Brock against a big BJJ guy or someone with strength that can pull of submissions off of his back... If Brock can get through guys like Nog and Wedum, then he mgiht have a chance... Otherwise it ends quicker than the Sylvia fight

I keep visiting MMA websites, hoping that one of them won't have this thread on it
Lesnar has some potential, although not appreciably more than other top prospects like Antonio Silva or Cain Velasquez and, despite the fact that those 2 have more experience and better records, nobody in their right mind would make a thread saying they could beat Fedor. Likewise for Stephen Neal, who beat Brock to win an NCAA championship and then actually made the NFL squad he tried out for. What Lesnar really has is years of marketing as a tremendous athlete and unbeatable fighting force by the world's best marketing arm for that type of thing--the WWE.
Fedor has fought bigger and better HWs and he's beat them all. Randleman, Ogawa, Crocop, Arona--all great, explosive athletes who couldn't beat him. Guys like Coleman, Randleman and Arona were able to get top position and it still wasn't enough to beat him. Guys like Ogawa, Zuluzhino and Sylvia were huge guys who Fedor went right after and put away quickly. Right now, this is a very easy match for Fedor.

Fedor has said that he has some interest in fighting Brock, and IMO I think Brock would win, he absolutely demolished Herring, without getting a scratch on him, I think he would beat Fedor.

Fedor is the best submission guy in mma, he is also dominant on his feet against K-1 champs, Lesnar's big and athletic, but I don't know how he could beat him other then a lucky punch.

Fedor also said he isnt the best fighter in the world.........hes being modest and trying to hype himself, nothing more. We all know hes at least #2, if not #1P4P.....
So everyone that says he can beat the P4P best; you apparently think he can beat the #2 and #3 HW submission fighters, in the ufc, in Nogueira and Werdum?! Ha. Fedor is better at everything than these two, so to assume he can beat Fedor would be to assume he is a top contender on the P4P list. There is no other reason to support brock winning this fight except being on the bandwagon.....
