The Minnesota Combative Sports Commission today confirmed the medical suspensions from UFC 87. Only a handful were issued, none expected to be longer than 30 days. Also, they announced they won't be releasing the fighter payouts.

sounds good. i am really pumped to see GSP Vs. Penn 2. could we see Lesnar Vs. Kongo also? that would be pretty interesting.

Lesnar-Kongo is the rumor everyone was starting. GSP only getting 30 days means the Penn fight should go off without a problem barring injury. As for Fitch, 30 days isn't too bad given how he looked after the fight:

i hate lesnar, but if he faces kongo he'll probably win. lesnar will do the same thing he did to herring. he'll take him to the ground and do a little bit of gnp, but basically just lay and pray because he really doesn't know what to do at this point.

Yeah, because that blast to the face was just lay and pray on Herring, right? Herring was covering everything except the back of his head. Brock already knows about that. He did what he could. He'll be able to do more next fight. He's got peeps...

The guy Junkie spoke to said that "fighters' salaries are not released in Minnesota as part of the state's freedom of information legislation." At least now we know they don't do that like Nevada & California do.

Fitch's eye looks bad. Maybe it's just the bruising - I was surprised by 30 days too.
