Regarding Lesnar's taunting, I'm glad someone is showing some personality and marketing himself.

Too many robots in the UFC right now, and average fans either can't tell them apart or won't remember their names.

It takes all types.

Too many robots?? Thats crazy to think the average fan "can't tell them apart", as for not remembering them, obviously for someone who just started watching mma it will take them a bit to get familier with the fighters. Pretty much all the fighters have plenty of personality, and sell themselves just fine. You don't need to act like an ass to sell your self. Mma is about fighting, skill, technique, and thats what they sell themselves with!!

If everybody sell himself with just skill, technique, good sportsmanship and kind words, then everybody blends together.

MMA is not a true "sport" yet. There's a strong entertainment aspect to it.

Koscheck gets it, but he's not at Brock's level when it comes to accepting the role of villain that the fans want to place him in.

"You don't need to act like an ass to sell your self. "

Of course not, but it obviously works. That's what the UFC needs right now, things that work immediately, not things that will work in the future once MMA is universally acknowleged as a sport just like Baseball, Football, Basketball etc.

this isn't bloody wrestling. I don't give a flying **** if fighters are boring people outside of the ring, and don't sell themselves. the only place they need to sell themselves is in the octagon, while they fight.

you know how you tell the fighters apart? by their performances and fighting styles. we don't need stupid story lines with "good guys" and "bad guys". any real mma fan just wants to see good fights.

the best fighters in the world don't speak english well anyways so i guess your dreams of soap opera mma won't come true for a while.

Just being realistic.

You can stick your head in the sand and just hope/believe that the sport will grow by people suddenly embracing BJJ chess matches, but I don't think it will.

With every fighter having to train every discipline to survive/succeed in the sport now, very few can differentiate themselves through their fighting style alone.

You have to have personalities, and I don't think Lesnar is putting on an act.

I'd rather have Lesnar acting like a dick before the match and after the match than BJ Penn admitting to lying about his feelings on Sherk right after the match ends.

Why believe Penn next time he says he doesn't like somebody while hyping a fight?

It doesn't matter if you love him or hate him. Everyone will be ordering his next PPV and that is all that matters to Dana. Also by everyone talking about him is only helping his hype and all hype is good.
