He's also the most classless asshole I've seen, maybe ever in MMA. His post-fight antics & statements would have made Tito Ortiz embarressed for him. Compare his bullshit with GSP/Fitch's postgame regard for each other for reference purposes. Smack talk pre-fight is almost expected...disrespecting your opponent post-fight to the level Brock took it just makes you look like a petty, wind-bag dick. Win a fight that required you doing something other than laying on a weaker guy for 13 mintues before you do your little lasso mime act, dumb ass.

I had respect for Lesnar going into the fight, but after how he taunted him and laughed in his face pretty much, thats just unbelievable.

Why is everyone making a big deal out of the way brock acted? It was a fight, you dont always have to hug your opponent and tell him hes a great guy or bow to him after the fight. Herring talked shit before the fight. Brock dominated him. In case you didnt notice at the end of round one herring called him a Mother F*cker. He did that an nobody says anything but brock has some fun after the fight and every body throws a fit about it. Its not like he slapped his crotch on the back of heaths head like clementi did after the melvin fight. Lighten up people

Did you notice Brock shove Herring from behind after the bell in round 1. I would have had respect for Lesner if he didn't do those stupid antics. Yeah he did dominate Heath but he should have shown him respect for Heath hanging in there, and the fact Lesnar couldn't finish the fight. He was acting like a 12 yearold pointing and laughing or as if he was fighting on the streets. Also i think he still thinks hes in the WWE grabbing the mic from Rogan just acting like a fool, obviously he would be happy to win, but show some class. He made mma look bad by his actions, and the last thing we need is the Ufc turning into the WWE...Last point lol Of course Heath talked crap before the fight as due all the fighters, thats how they hype the fight up and sell the fight but in the end they know it is business and give the respect each fighter deserves for doing what they do!! I'm not sure of a good match up for Lesnar, any submission guy and he will have the same fate as with Mir...He really isn't very skilled (except his "bull ramming" wrestling) hes just so big...also if he wasn't 20 pounds heavier he "might" not be able to just lie on his opponent. I know anyone 20 pounds lighter than me i could just sit on them too

I found this on another site and thought it sums it up perfectly

There is an old track saying: If you are a coach holding try-outs and two people are running for the last spot on your team. One runs in perfect form, has beautiful control, and is not winded after the run and the other runs like a mess with their arms flailing around and they can't even breathe correctly afterward. They tie the race. Who do you pick?

You pick the spaz. The one that has correct form and is in shape has already peaked and can't improve much more than the level they are at currently. the spaz on the other hand is only going to get better and better.

Lesnar was a spaz, and as soon as he learns what the **** "get your hooks in" means, the heavyweight division is going to tremble.

if you dont know what get your hooks in means, you shouldn't be in the ufc. on the other hand, the ufc heavyweight division has very little talent, so it might be trembling.

He was trying to finish the fight. He almost killed herring with those 2 knees to the body. and when he had heath on the ground he was poundin away. He just couldnt get the right position to finish.
and as for him gettin beat by any submission guy, I completely disagree. he made a rookie mistake against mir. If the ref had warned him for the shots to the back of the head like he should have (instead of immidiatly taking a point away) I think he would have beat mir. But I really dont see brock gettin tapped out. He has no neck at all so I dont think he will be choked out, He would slam anyone if they got him in a triangle because he just so damn big. His arms are huge so I think he would power out of an armbar or kimura attempt. and I dont think he's gonna make the same mistake by giving someone his foot again.

I looked up Lay & Pray in the MMA-tionary & found a picture of Brock Lesnar. Can't believe everone piles on other wrestlers for this tactic, but this palooka gets a free pass? Was the most boring fight of all the ones broadcast last night, by a -big- margin. All he showed me was he could lay on top of an opponent for like 13 minutes with extremely little control, without attempting any submissions or attempting to gain better position. Big, heavy freaking hands, tho! If he learns how to strike he'll KTFO some guys too stupid/slow to get out of his way.

Say all you want it was the guys third fight ever. He was cautious which after his last fight he needed to be.The next thing I write I will put in bold.

Stop the take down and you don't have to deal with it.

Is it possible to stop Lesnar's takedowns? He basically tossed Herring at will and he was 250 lbs.

Oh, I agree...Herring didnt stop the take downs & was where he was by his own fault. The point I am making is Lesnar did vitually nothing but Lay & Pray once he got Herring down & he layed on him for well over 90% of the fight. Anyone else does that & they get called out and torched by everyone, yet for whatever reason Lesnar gets a pass....wait, not even a pass, ACCOLADES for a "great performance"?!? I guess I just didnt see it that way *shrugs*

Wasnt impressed at all. The potential is obvious & maybe thats what everyone is praising, but potential unrealised = Joe Riggs & doesnt impress me at all.

T777

P.S. To whoever mentioned Penn licking Sherk's blood off his glove; Yeah, that was extremely bush league & among the reasons I'm not a Penny fan. Hopefully the further into the past the WWE gets for Lesnar, the less he will look/act like a windbag asshole with no sportsmanship, but for the time being it should not go unnoiticed.

Well people in my area are blind brock huggers cus hes "from here" and probably dont care about his antics and probably found them practical and "okay' for him to do because of his WWF past or whatever, non-the-less I agree with you on his boring style and the potential he is possibly wasting could get him a title shot someday, can he beat nog? or "that pussy fedor" as brock calls him.... proabably not but I just dont think hes anything but a draw to the UFC and if he starts to lose they will likely cut him loose.

he wasnt just laying on him and waiting for the bell to sound i seen brock riding him and punching his face when herring was brave enough to lift his head out of the mat and dropping nasty knees but i didnt see any praying

people will find reasons to either like or dislike brock. some cant get past he was in wwe and wont realize his talent in mma. some liked him in wwe and wont realize his flaws in mma. was his actions uncalled for? sure but he also wanted to touch gloves before the 3rd and hh didnt so why isnt that being brought up. i dont like the sign of disrespect at all but to hype the fight all brock said was that his head was like a ball peeen hammer. hh was doing the trash talking. your in it with brock lesnar. in his hometown. you dont need to hype it up. brock was cool when talking bout hh compared to frank mur. hh was doing more insults.

and somebody brought up finishing hh. that dude is not easy to finish at all. lesnar put about as bad of beating on him as possible. more expierence maybe he wouldve finished him but he won. before the fight alot of people were saying lesnar is overhyped and now those people are turning around and saying hes a cocky sob. thats fine but you still aint realizing his talent.

lay n pray?? look at heaths face. ask him how long hes pissing blood for after the knees to the body.
