Just wondering, a friend (who will remain nameless) (and also might be fibbing)
he tells me that he went to a gym in Toronto 2 weeks ago, and met Kimbo and Bas. but Where the story gets weird is it was at a Gracie Gym.
just wondering if there is a Gracie Gym or LA Boxing dojos in Toronto.
If so, i will look like an idiot, if not He will look like an idiot. So heres ur opportunity to make someone look and feel stupid

The gracies have gyms all over the place. I wouldn't doubt there being one anywhere. First off there's 1,000 gracies, and second off it seems like every single one of them owns a gym or 9

This is a Gracie (Royler) affilated school:
http://www.bravadojj.cityslide.com/Welcome.html
Things to look for are the Gracie logo and that the instructor received a black belt (not just trained with) a specific Gracie, in this case Royler.
But why are you interested in a Gracie school in particular? Why not a school with another qualified, non Gracie affliiated, instructor like the one posted above?

jorge Britto, one of the instructors, apparently "has been taught by Helio and Royler" among others. Whatever that means. I've been technically taught by Rickson and Royce, but I wouldn't consider that to be Gracie lineage. Heck, I don't even consider myself a BJJ person.
I think to be officially in the lineage you need to have gotten your black belt (or higher) from a Gracie school. I think Jorge got his black belt under Saulo Ribeiro. Saulo was one of Royler's students. Not sure if that is enough Gracie lineage for you or if Jorge can be considered to have a "Gracie belt"
I hope this helps
