Hi all, I have an idea for a new fantay MMA game for people on this site if any one is interested.
Here goes:
Before each UFC event everyone pick a team of 5 fighters who are fighting on that card. 1 from each weight class. the fighters will qualify for the weight class that they are fighting at that event. If there is a weight class not represented at that event then you can choose any one on the card regardless of weight, that will class as a free weight choice.
The points will be
3 pts = win
1pt = loss
2 pts = draw/No contest.
After each event we will then do a vote on the fighters on the card:
There will be 4 sections.
KO/TKO of the night
Tapout of the night
Fight of the night
Fighter of the night
The winner in each category will earn an additional 5 pts.
Fighter of the night can be for any reason you see fit for eg:
Pulling off an upset
spectecular performance or finish to the fight
showing a lot of heart in defeat ie Mark Bocek v Mac danzig.
It will just be UFC not any others but because it will be very interactive im hoping it would make it very ineresting.

Yes I will. after the event every one will have one week to vote on the 4 categories,
KO
SUB
FOTN
FIGHTER
and then I will do a table. I will run it alongside MMAPLAYGROUND SEASON 4, ( so it will last 9 events) .

Just though I'd throw this out there...for FOTN and other awards, why not just let the UFC decide for you, as it would be less biased and take a lot less effort. The fighter of the night could be the person that wins the FOTN...but I'm not sure a fighter of the night is actually needed. Otherwise, sounds interesting.

Thankyou for the suggestion. Ive been running this idea in my fight camp and the idea behind the voting it to make it more interactive.
I will keep this idea going but if people feel it is not working then it can be changed.

What the hell, put me down for Kongo, Gusmao, Maia, GSP, and Manny.
Also, I think it makes more sense to let the UFC decide the award winners too. Just my two cents.
I'll run this post by some of my camp members, and see if anyone else wants is.

Two people have suggseted we use the UFC bonuses.
I will as for people to vote on this.
Would people rather use the UFC bonuses or would people rather vote for there own bonuses.
I will go with the majority.
