Serra over Rush. Serra at the time would have never even risen high enough to fight GSP. He got a once in a lifetime chance at a title shot by winning Tuff. I don't think anybody honestly could tell me that they thought Rush would be KOed in R1. If you picked it to end that way you either didn't know what you were doing or you are an extraordinary MMA visionary.

If you are an extraordinary MMA visionary my hats off to you.

Serra over GSP and also Joe Lauzon beating Jens Pulver. That was a clear "booked to win" fight for Jens, no way J-Lau was supposed to pull the upset.

Definitely Serra over GSP for me.

Although one little heard of upset was actually Fedor vs. Nog 1. Nog had dominated and then this tubby Russian guy came in and made him eat GnP like no one had ever seen.

Serra vs GSP as everyone as noted already

I also pretty much spit out my beer on the floor when I saw Nick Diaz finish Gomi.

Forrest vs Rampage was pretty big in my book too.

Other standard answers:

Techno Viking Jardine vs Iceman.

CC vs GG

What Serra never beat me in a fight....er, yeah.

Basically I have to go with Serra vs. Rush. Not only was it an upset, but I was really upset too..... how's that for a pun.

According to MMAP's stats. GG over CC was the biggest. Cro Cop had 99% of the votes to win leaving Gonzaga with 1%.

However Serra over St.Pierre was a bigger upset in that it was a fluke. GG over CC was no fluke because GG was winning the first round anyway, and would be likely to beat him in a second matchup. GSP proved that his loss was a fluke.

D'oh how could I have forgotten Soko vs. Lil' Nog. Man that rocketed Soko's rankings. I bet that or GG vs. Crocop was the biggest shift in a division ranking ever.
