Despite the UFC's recent termination of his contract, middleweight Jesse Taylor (6-3) remains optimistic about his future in MMA -- and he's open to a potential return to the organization.

He needs to go away, knuckle down and learn when to keep his mouth shut. If he puts a good run together there is always a chance of getting back in.

Team Quest ain't gonna hurt him and hes still young good wrestling I hope he does well for himself but I'm still happy he left over CB Dollaway because Dollaway is going to be amazing in the future. Really think he's going to be champion one day.

I like Jesse Taylor. I just don't think he's ready for the UFC.

So far, that is the story of this kid's career. There are a lot of guys out there that have tons of talent, but dealing with the fame of the UFC is another thing.

And Taylor did the worst thing possible. He tried to use his fame (before he had actually even achieved it, mind you) to his advantage, yelling in a Fertitta-owned casino that he was a UFC fighter.

I don't care who you are dude. Look at Rampage. Does he want to end up like that? I really do hope that this release is a blessing in disguise.

I was never keen on CB on the show as he came across very arrogant.

I was impressed he sub Rampage in training and to see the Peruvian neck tie against Jesse also was impressive.

I think it did him some good being submitted twice in a basic move by a new comer. It will stop him being complacent.

i agree with you. i think he could do pretty well in the wec, but i doubt he'll go there since the ufc owns the wec.

He needs to prove himself now. He has had 2 opportunities in the space of 3 months and blew both times.

Jesse Taylor had his shot. He wouldn't be good in the WEC or anywhere else for that matter. He does not have the brains to be a good fighter.....totally one dimensional.
