well im going to go off what the other fighters have said in the 205 division, they don't want to fight machida because they don't want to fight someone that doesnt come in there to fight. elusive some people call it, but i don't. The top contenders don't want to go to a decision and chase a guy down for 3 rounds. So no wonder no one wants to fight him.

Well if he didn't come to fight it would be an easy win right? That's not why they don't want to fight him.

Machida schooled Tito and destroyed Sokodjou.

Nobody wants to fight him because he will beat them.

Truth. I don't get "no one wants to fight him because he doesn't fight." that doesn't make sense. He hits you, you don't hit him. He's elusive. It's not like he's a on a bike either. He uses limited foot movmement to stay away. It's all about distance and lateral movement. A guy like Chuck LIdell and Wandy would be good matchups for Lyoto because they throw really wide shots from awkward angles, especially Wandy.

If you watch Lyoto he stands about half a step away from most people's leg kicks so that they have to step forward and then kick. He has a very quick first half step and lead kick. Lots of MMA fighters prefer to throw their back foot instead of their lead foot. Interesting stuff if you dissect it.

he still hasnt been truly hit. Id like to see him perform like he has been after getting hit hard by a Liddell or Silva for a round or 2
