He probably gets payed a flat rate...not all contracts are set up the same way. It's a way of guaranteeing a certain pay. i.e. Cro-Cop was payed a flat rate when he was in the UFC.

Elite XC is not paying their fighters any better then the UFC. Most of those undercard fighters got 5k or less. You may only see one fighter on a UFC card getting pennys like that. Overall their pay is worst then what UFC pays, so i really hope people stop dissing the UFC and the way they pay their fighters.

The pay is comparable to the UFC's, but how much is the UFC making in comparison to Elite XC?
