The California State Athletic Commission has issued a total of nine fighters, including headliners Fedor Emelianenko and Tim Sylvia, medical suspensions stemming from the July 19 "Affliction: Banned" event.
MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) today received the list of suspensions from the CSAC.
The recent pay-per-view and FSN event took place at the Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif., and was the debut show for the upstart Affliction Entertainment promotion.

The main thing this advertises is that Arlovski is ok! He beat Rothwell for 3 rounds and never had a scratch. The man is a machine!

That's the second time in a row somebody breaks their hand on Tim's jaw. If only Tim lasted through the first onslaught it would have been a long night for Fedor.

Fedor V Randy will be his next fight I am thinking, Affliction cant afford to miss to many fighters on there next show, Or it could be their last.........hopefully it all works out and they survive, But at this stage, imo Aflliction NEED Fedor, So they should just wait for him and not risk a average card which could ruin them.

Fedor has always had problems with that hand. it has caused him to drop from GPs (that's why Wandy fought CC) and has plagued him throughout his whole career. he will get cleared early by an orthopedic doctor so i say he will return around October.

I hope he does return but if he doesn't they should pair Arlovski with Barnett for interim title then have champ v champ when Fedor returns.
