With defeat as the impetus, Jackson responded to rough terrain by relieving the trainer of his duties, though “bottom line, somehow, someway it all involves money,” said the fighter’s friend.
Jackson is now out of psychiatric observation and is attending outpatient treatment on a daily basis, but he didn’t seem completely cured after his initial release.
“He would still make comments that were slightly weird,” said Jackson’s longtime associate. “You could tell that he wasn’t all the way there, but each day you could tell he was better…He knows what he went through,” said the source. “He knew he had an emotional breakdown that led to a mental breakdown.”

thats sad. I hope Rampage can clear his head. I think things were going to fast for him to handle. Beating Lidell with a tremendous KO and then beating Hendo to become the Undisputed Champ, plus the reality show. I might be missing a few things but thats sounds like a lot on his plate !.
mAYBE some time off will be good for him. as for fighting in November against Silva i dont think it would be the best idea. Rampage aint going anywhere he should take a vacation with me or something to AMSTERDAM. He could free his mind, then maybe his ass will follow!

I don't know if anyone reads Fight! magazine, but they had a very interesting article from before the Griffin fight. I read it after the "incident" and it really shed some light on the personal life of Rampage and his relationship with his trainer. It seemed that the two were, in fact, very tight.

The story goes that Juanito was stealing money from Rampage.
I read it on a blog somewhere, will try to find you a link.

Financial "issues" and a drop off in training quality is what I've been told. I'm looking for him to move to Xtreme Couture. He needs someone who can keep him level and I know he has a ton of respect for Randy.

I heard that Rampage was back in the gym last night, doing some training. Good to hear that he's at least getting back in there.

Somewhere with a strong leader and good mma track record. He needs guidance as well as a good group around him to be successful, he's to trusting IMO.
