Now that Okami is hurt and Patrick Cote is taking his place at UFC 90 does this put him out of the title picture or does he get a title shot when he is back and fully healed.iIonly ask this because I've seen Karo Parisyan work his way up to a title shot with then Welterweight Champion Matt Hughes and he got hurt and they through Joe Riggs in with Hughes which didnt last long. Karo eventully came back and had a couple of more fights before he was even talked about a title shot.I understand now why he wouldn't get one and also understood that the WW class got much stronger during his return. With that said the MW class is thin with contenders but could get stronger before we know it only time will tell.In my opinion I would like to see Okami Silva rematch because the first one was BS! If you havent seen it check it out(very impressive)Any ways I would like to hear your thoughts or facts if you know any.

I think the differance is 170 is a stacked weight class....
and well 185 is not
So with that being said Okami probally fights once and then fights Anderson

When he comes back, I would like to see him and Kampmann fight, and that winner get the next title shot.

My opinion is he has to win one good fight when he comes back to get him back in figting shape to fight Silva. Maybe someone like Kampmann or Bisping. Winner of Okami vs. Kampmann/Bisping gets a title shot.

I think Cote has missed his chance just like Karo did.
The winner of Hendo/Palhares will get the next shot imo

Hendo is 'supposed' to win this match, I don't think he'll get a shot if he beats Palhares. Palhares on the other hand, considering they were going to give Almeida a shot if he beats Cote, I guess you could make a case for. There are a lot of good middleweights to make a case for, problem is finding a great one other than the few established.
