Dana just wanted everyone to know he can bench 300 lbs and that the only motorcycles allowed in octagons are Harley Davidsons.

it wasnt that the UFC purchased the IFL?? someone else said that in another thread (i also didnt catch it, seen UFC 84 already)...both might have been said for all i know

Only thing of significance that I caught was when he announced UFC89 would be free. I could have missed something, though. I was using the ol' DVR to move through and catch the good stuff

So the announcement was that ufc 89 was free? I already watched ufc 84 so i watched elite xc instead which it sounds like most people did

I think these announcements aren't really for us die hards. Someone has usually leaked whatever announcement on the net, and we already know. The press releases seem to designed to reach casual fans IMO.
