Anyone says Cote doesn't have a chin, has never seen his fights. I see Cote getting picked a part, but he isn't going to get dropped like sandman. Cote has goodstand up and should atleast make it to the second round. I see Anderson winning by submission in the 2nd. i don't see Cote getting ko. You can hate all you want, but Cote has a solid chin and can take lots of bombs, which Iknow he will, but he wont go down.

Cote does have a decent chin unlike what some people are saying, so it shouldn't be a repeat of the Irvin fight, but Leben is known for his chin and look what happend to him. So it basically is this. Anderson Silva is better at any aspect of MMA than Cote, so the only chance Cote has is to come out throwing bombs and hoping he can land one on the button very quickly or he is going to get picked apart. But even as great as Anderson's standup is, if he wanted to not take any chances at all, all he'd have to do is take the fight to the ground and submit Cote. On the ground Cote doesn't even have a puncher's chance. The bottom line is this, unless Hendo gets a rematch or someone who is even better at BJJ than Anderson (which their aren't that many, especially at MW) maybe like Ricardo Almeada (I know Cote beat Almeada, but it's about the style match ups) or Fihlo, Anderson seems like he will be holding onto that belt for awhile. I would really love to see someone beat him though, so Franklin can come back and take the title.

All of my logic and MMAth tells me the Spider wins in less than one minutes. Cote couldn't handle Lutters ground game and lost a stand up battle to Leben although really close. So my good senses tell me it should be either a KO or sub within the first minute.

However Cote has been hot, looks rejuvenated and has been comming to fights with a solid game plan. I don't know how or where Cote could find a weakness to expose on Anderson but I really hope he does. I will be picking Silva but rooting for Cote.

Anybody can get knocked out if they get hit on the button. Or eat repeated kness to the face. But I hope you aren't bashing Rich with that comment, because besides Anderson and "possibly " Hendo, Rich is the greatest MW in the world. He just couldn't find a gameplan that worked for him against Anderson, but besides his two losses to Anderson he is 23-1-1 NC in his career, and the only other time he has lost was to Machida at 205, and Machida is still undefeated. So take that crap somewhere else.
