Lightweight GP matchups set for 'Sengoku' 4 |

World Victory Road announced Thursday Takanori Gomi's opponent and the matchups for the start of its Lightweight Grand Prix at "Sengoku" 4 on August 24.
Gomi will face DEEP lightweight champion Pang Seung Hwan in the main event, as rumored.
As part of the Lightweight Grand Prix, eight competitors will do battle for spots on the November semifinal/final card, where the eventual tournament winner will earn a shot at Gomi for the "Sengoku" lightweight belt. The four opening round bouts are:

guess that means we wont be seeing Schultz in the UFC anytime soon, thought he'd be one of the guys the UFC would try and get.

Damn I was hoping Ludwig would be in the tourney! Hoping he would get another crack in a bigger org, (and a rematch with Gomi) that guy has amazing talent but falls short when he gets his shot.

That is a seriously weak card. Trigg's fight is the only one that is even remotely interesting.

its not that bad at all actually if you think about it Gomi is fighting shooto lw champ and theres 3 lw champs in this tourney....dsnt seemt hat bad for Gomi's competition 3 lw champs.....and hes fighting a lw champ himself.......
