Just got back from a gig an me and my buddies were talking about who was the greatest front man ever (it ended up Freddy Mercury). Anyway gentlemen and ladies.. Who would you use to build the greatest band of all time?!
I'd have: -
John Bohnom on the drums. The man was amazing and defiantly one of the best rock drummers to ever live!
Paul McCartney/Duff on bass. Paul McCartney created some of the best and most memorable bass lines I'v ever heard. Was amazing at shaping the bass to fit the song and a grade 8 at pretty much every instrument he has ever touched! Duff is a killer bassist and looks cool as hell!
Jimmy Page on Rhythm guitar. He is without doubt the greatest guitarist to ever grace the face of this world as well as being a awesome lead guitarist but, he could make a average song great with the way he structured the rhythm.
Slash on lead. One hell of a guitarist and keeps it old school with nothing but blues and waa waa! Has got some of the greatest solos ever under his belt and adds a hell of a lot of cool to the mix.
Charlyn "Chan" Marshall for the vocals. I know its a strange choice but imagine her vice fronting that line up! You'd have some of the best musicians playing killer blues rock and her awesome voice belting out the lyrics!
So who would you guys have?

Posted by 40ouncetofreedom I dont really understand the Paul Mccartney though.
He's just a fantastic musician. He's massively under rated as well. Listen to helter skelter by the beatles and tell me thats not a killer bass line! They were all good musicians you named man, but McCartney musically is one of the all time greats. I'm not just talking about pop music or even music from this century. He's up there with the likes of Beethoven and Vivaldi for composing music. He just has that thing about him.

So you've basically got AC/DC, GNR, Led Zeppelin and Metallica all in one. Now THAT'S the perfect band!
