This is gonna be good. I had doubts on Fedor, and I still don't like him but I gotta give it to him after I picked Sylvia and Fedor raped him. Arlovski will do good IMO, and could pull off the upset. But right now I have no idea who to even pick in this matchup.

Fedor will win. AA will be a tough match, but Fedor is a machine. AA looked good against Rothwell, but not good enough.

I think fedor by UD. Only cause Fedor is a good guy and let it draw out, unless AA tries to take advantage of his generosity then fedor will devour him.

As I said in the other thread I think Barnett deserves the shot more, but it's a smart move to give it to arlovski since he's a much more popular fighter and they're trying to build up their name.
This is basically a Sambo match which Fedor will win. They practice the same style but Fedor is hands down the best in the world at it. Arlovski is at a really serious disadvantage here. The way to beat a superior opponent is to bring something to the table that they can't. Nog had jiu jitsu, crocop had kickboxing, arlovski has... sambo. Not that they were successful either, but people gave them credit for having a distinct advantage in some area to give them a potential edge. Andrei doesn't have that here.
Bad matchup for andrei, which is disappointing because I like him and wanted to see him grab another win. I really don't see any way for andrei to win, he doesn't bring anything to the table that fedor hasn't studied for his entire life. Should still be an exciting fight and as people are saying he will most likely last longer than Tim but I still doubt if it will get out of the first round.

I'm going to take Andrei on this one... Has anyone looked at him? He's 250 and has a six pack.... that's nuts!
Plus even after what Fedor did to Tim I think Andrei has better stand-up. If it goes to ground it will be Fedor in seconds but as long as its stood up I think AA will take the best of the exchanges....
Should be a freaking war though, I might actually have to buy it...

Thats the rationale I wen't with when Fedor fought Cro Cop, Tim, Semmy, and HMC. Fedor apperently has tip top K-1 level striking. I definetly think this will be a great fight though.

Heck, yea. I wanted this fight more than Barnett just cause I like AA. He will do way better than Sylvia did (not like thats hard to accomplish)

i think AA has the advantage in striking. then consider he will be working with freddie roach till oct?!?!? if he can hold off the initial fedor burst i think he will win 2nd or 3rd rd tko. that is of course if they can keep it on the feet!
