gsp needs to prove himself but the sandman didn't?? gsp don't answer to nobody!!!!!!!
James Irvin didn't need to "prove" himself, because it is the natural weight class that he fights and Silva moved up to fight him. Irvin also isn't the holder of a UFC belt... so he really don't have to prove anything. GSP still has to prove his dominance, his loss to Serra, even though avenged, still sticks out in people's minds as GSP not having the granite chin that he was thought to have before. Im not saying he does or doesn't have a chin, my point is that he still has an entire division of contenders to take care of before he can think about moving up (dumb idea imo he'd be destroyed by Anderson).

Anderson Silva appears to have become some type of unstoppable killing machine. GSP vs Silva would be a joke. I like GSP as much as anyone (that's not Canadian), but come on. He's not even in the same league. If we're living in fantasy land, let's see Silva vs Fedor. Put the two stone cold killers against each other and see what happens.

GSP is and awesome athlete, but just Andersons size alone will pose a huge problem for him....Not that i wouldnt want to see this fight, but i just think there are a lot better fights for GSP in his own division.....

IMO GSP is certainly deserving of a fight with Silva, especilly if he beats Fitch, GSP has beaten every single top level WW in the division without breaking a sweat, ya he's had a few set back, but avenged both of those with ease, I think he's in perfect line for a shot.

lol at the whole GSP/Silva fight. It's not gonna happen anytime soon so why must we debate such sillieness. Silva's manager shouldn't have even had to answer that stupid question.
Do you really think it would be good buisness for UFC to even consider this? No it's not so shut up internet.
