here's the thing, i dont like a lot of thing dana does but he is the boss, he puts the fights on takes all the crap from people makes sure fighter are still ok to fight he does a lot, and for 1 fighter to not sign with him he is not going to jump for him. dana is a smart guy and he knows fedor will come to him when he wants to, which will be sooner then later imo
I don't see Fedor coming, theres no one in the UFC that he would want to face, he's already beaten Nog twice and the majority of the top 10 are outside the UFC, not to mention he can do what he wants and still makes a nice bit of change doing it. I don't get how anyone can't root for Fedor, he's the nicest guy I've ever seen, his post fight interview was hilarious.

The contract fedor was looking to sign is the same one every other fighter signs. He wanted to do sambo tournaments. Dana cant risk him getting injured and delaying his fights. the same policy 300 other fighters deal with. Im sure dana will end up getting fedor and hype him up as the best ever.
I agree that Dana did not want him entering Sambo tourneys but that is bullshit that he will get injured in a Sambo tourney when he allows his fighters compete in BJJ tourneys. The chances of injury are about even in both IMO.
you are right its not about injury its about control of the fighter. fedor didnt want the ufc to have total control of who and when he fights . i guess after the aa ordeal we can add if he fights to the equation. if the ufc has 300 guys and they all have exclusive contracts and only 12-15 events per year how many guys are not allowed to fight at all? its a bs deal for fighters to sign exclusive deals. i would have loved to see fedor in the ufc he would have destroyed the competition.
