AWESOME news. Company is growing, and since DREAM.6 plans to be free, they are stacking it with loads of super fights!

Good to see the numbers were solid in Japan, especially after Kid dropped off the card. Was a great show, now all they have to do is get rid of that stupid one hour intermission for us diehards that are pulling an all-nighter to watch the show, tough to stay awake through it.

Yep, I fell asleep after the Akiyama fight.

At least they started at 2:00 am, instead of 5:00 am.
That help for us across the pond, and it was an awesome night of fights. Eddie vs Kawajiri became an instant classic. Aoki vs Hansen became one of the weirdest tournament conclusions in history.
That all made for an awesome night for Fights, and for DREAM and HDnet.

Those aren't great ratings but at least it's an improvement. I think the ratings on the other networks will determine how bad or good those numbers will be considered to be by higher ups in TV in Japan. DREAM1 came in last place in it's timeslot with the 8.9% rating if I remember correctly. If they are last again it's very bad news for DREAM.

I'm glad that the show got good ratings. It was a great card, and a lot of people were treated with great fights.

IMO this Event was more compeling to watch than Affliction or UFN 14, don't get me wrong they were good shows, but this DREAM card had alot of close fights with no huge favorites, going into it i had no clue who i thought would win it, and was just looking forward to watching it not worrying about who i think will take it.
I can't wait for DREAM 6

It was the best MMA show this week, trumping UFC and Affliction in my opinion. Exciting evenly matched fighters.
My favorite part about the show is the announcing. Bas Rutten is the man. The guy says the most hilarious stuff, yet it's so spot on.
My favorite was during the Alvarez and Kawajiri standup war Bas goes, "I'm freaking out."

Good to hear that there are improvements in ratings. I've been really enjoying the late night HDNet live broadcasts.
With the feel of a PrideFC show, Dream has made HDNet a huge bargain. Remember buying PrideFC and UFC shows each month? Hopefully Dream really takes off in Japan so we keep getting great free cards on HDnet.

Free in Japan
Dream is only on PPV in Japan, having their next show on free to air tv is a major deal, when Pride lost their free to air deal due to the Yakuza allegations, that is when they started to go down the pan as they lost a major revenue stream.
