Alvarez takes it I think. Aoki is going to have a very hard time getting the fight to the mat, short of some flying move, and on the feet hes chum. Alvarez could mess up and get tripped by the smaller fighter, but hes too smart for that and knows where his power is. Alvarez in the first via KO.

JZ fought a bad gameplan and tried to take the fight down, and was content to stay there when he shouldn't have. Alvarez seems smarter than that if he wouldn't even touch the mat with Hansen, whos not half the BJJ wizard Aoki is.

PS, why were there so many fights we couldnt pick on? and it kinda sucks we cant pick the winner of the GP.
We don't add fights if its less than 12 hours before the event cut-off, so everyone has a shot to get their fight picks in in a reasonable time. Those fights were announced 8 hours before the cut-off so we didn't add them.

I took the dog in that one. I didn't think the disperity in grappling was that extreme and considering Tokoro was in a car wreck a couple days ago, I felt it was a fairly solid bet. As long as he doesn't dump Yamazaki with strikes I think Yamazaki takes a decision.
