i see him headlining 89 in birmingham. as much as i love my boy bisping that isnt a headline fight they have been saving it for slva to defend his title if he came out of the irvin fight ok. Its safe to say i think silva came out that fight ok. i dont see the UFC putting a silva title fight ahead of golden boy chuck on the card. maybe its wishful thinking that im right as i have tickets for ufc 89 but you cnt blame me for dreaming.

i still believe that cote deserves a title shot about as much as frank mir does (they both don't) i would much rather see some more top tier matchups to sort this out which should include martin kampmann, thales leites, demian maia (if he beats mcdonald) and bisping (if he beats leben). the days of premature and undeserving title shots in the ufc should be over

lol cote and silva is just like irvin and silva, cote has to get lucky with a shot which most likely wont happen, i just hope he can last at least a minute
