with a quick finish, injury free, i know with okami out with broken hand the fight in sept is off, pushed back to either i say oct show in chicago or nov show. i think he will now fight cote for sure, for main event at either ufc 90 or 91 silva is the best in the world,, i think it is murder for cote, but there is no one else

it all depends. Dana might ask anderson to have another fight at 205(which i hope doesnt happen) but if cote is ready to fight again soon then have those two fight and then when okami is ready to fight have okami fight for the title.
But Silva needs to stay at 185.

With Okami out, they will feed Silva Cote. Silva will not lose his belt for a long long time. The UFC needs to bring in Filho and have him and Silva fight. That is the only guy within the Zuffa family that makes sense for Silva to fight right now.

Silva vs Cote at 90 is my guess.
and my guess is also that Cote doesnt back up his talk of standing toe 2 toe and knocking Anderson out...actually I think it will be the exact opposite...he will be hesitant and get knocked out

if they ever do ask Anderson to fight at 205 again soon, it should be against Brandon Vera... itd be interesting to see one of the former top contenders in the Heavyweight division against Silva. give Brandon a little time to get used to his new weight, and thatd be a hell of a fight to see

I would think. If not, I dont see why its a problem for Silva to fight soon. If he ends the fight in a minute with no damage, why should he be delayed for his next fight. The guy is considered P4P and is willing to prove it as much as possible

Why are ppl so upset with the 205 thing. Dana cant give a contender to Silva every three months. Its been almost 6 and we still really dont have one (I dont see Cote as contender material.) Silva has earned the additional fights by destroying the division and as long as he defends the title twice a year (which he prob does it three times a year), then he is doing more than a lot of other champions. BJ delays his division by deciding to jump a division when they have like 50 contenders WW division was on hold a year cause of TUF and Serra. HW is now delayed because of TUF and also there was the Couture dispute. Rampage waited like 9 months to fight after Henderson I think and also because of TUF.
Anderson Silva is the only champ who has been defending the most often and the most dominating.

silva/cote next mw championship fight. i know most of you will think i'm an idiot but i think cote will give him a fight.
although i kind of am an idiot. i did pick irvin to beat silva. i thought irvin could catch him with a lucky shot and pull off one of the bigger upsets in ufc history. james has a legendary muay thai trainer and i really thought it could pay off. NOPE. i've picked against anderson in his last 2 fights. i'm not picking against him again i don't give a shit who he fights.
