It was the first time I heard Big John do fight commentary. I thought he did a solid job. He is as experienced as they come as far as the seeing fights, he knew what was going on, and didn't ramble on and on about random thing. What do you guys think?

i like Joe Rogan better. i found myself calling out all the leg kicks since Joe wasn't there to do it...
Affliction did have a good team though, but i prefer Rogan better, the guy has grown on me over the years.

With each passing event I am more and more irritated by the commentating by Rogan and Goldberg. It's gotten to the point were I am putting the volume on mute.

I have to agree with rush and mrsmiley. Rogan has always annoyed me besides the interview. Goldberg lately seems to only hype the upcoming fights and dvd's UFC has coming out. Affliction's team of course could use work but they were all solid and 2 of them were calling a big show for the first time ever.........Affliction needs to work on their broadcast mix though. When the fighters walked to the ring you could not hear the crowd's cheering. This is very important in building excitement in the at-home crowd...........

really? well to each his own i guess.
i just am used to Rogan's voice and i like his inputs. watching MMA doesn't feel the same without hearing his voice.

Big John was pretty monotone to me, maybe he just needs experience. The in-ring interviews were horri-a-awful.

I felt that way with Bas Rutten and Stephen Quadros.
