affliction should counter and show chonan vs silva..

i don't mind it but it just creates a bad relationship with zuffa and it's fighters. it's basically saying if you leave, we're going to try and embarrass you. christ, i'm sure they'd show arlovski vs datsik if they had the footage. i understand it's just business, but theres an ethical code that one should follow.

Its business man, break their legs before they can walk, all business.

I'll be watching Afflicition (for free) and have my other small TV on spike to check on the results or if a fight on Affliction is boring or one on UFN interests me more i'll be switching back and forth.

There are fans, who will see that footage, and say to themselves, or their ignorant friends, that is why they don't fight for the UFC anymore. The UFC is smart for showing that, but the true MMA fan will see right through it.

I think it's pretty funny. Dana is a great businessman and he has a sour taste for Affliction to begin with. I think it's a great 'slap in the face' for there first event.

i think anybody in their position would do the exact same thing, kudos to the ufc for pulling the trigger. I can never complain about more mma no matter what the intention is behind it.

Umm, more mma upfront, today. If it goes the way Dana hopes, less MMA overall? Yes that is worth saying kudos to the UFC. T_T

This is exactly what PRIDE did after Liddell beat Couture for the LHW title. The next day on Fox Sports they showed Jackson VS Liddell from the 2003 tournement.

Cool Dana did it,but not an original trick by a long shot.ECW used to show old Stone Cold Steve Austin, and Mic Foley wrestling matches as well to counter the WWE talent and say,our guys beat your guys.

if affliction goes under do you really think all those fighters will go oh well i better get a change of career i think not they will simply join another organisation possibly the ufc (hopefully not tim sylvia) and we will still have the same amount of mma
