surprised at how many people are taking thiago here, i'm thinking he'll gas late in the second and machida will get the TKO in the 3rd.

Well the people who bag on Machida for being "boring" i dont think they have anything to worry about in this fight.....I think Silva will push the pace and eventually get KO'd........

can't go against my fav.
Thiago!

BTW: it sucks that UFC confirmed 6 bouts for 89 (October) and still have just Lidell-Evans (worst main event in UFC history) for September.

I kinda think this should be the main event instead of Bisping/Leben. That's just my opinion though.

yes it should

Wow, I would've payed for this card. Six of my favorte fighters on one card. Thiago Alves, Machida, Thiago Silva, Bisping, Luiz Cane and Sanchez.. That's sick dude. A lot of people have been proclaiming this card week, but I think that will settle down.

The winner of this fight should at the very least be second in line.

This will be interesting, if Thiago can utilize his pressure and force Machida to be more aggressive like he was in pride when the ring was smaller. Great matchup it's pretty even. The two differences are that I think Lyoto is faster and has better standup. The other difference is I think Thiago is stronger and has heavier hands.

Lyoto by 3rd KO.

it won't be the main event. the main reason being that leben/bisping has the star power since both of them were on TUF. i'm sure the silva/machida fight will not even be the co-main event because that will probably go to the sanchez/alves fight. why? mostly because sanchez was on TUF, but also because alves is deserving of a title shot with one more win.

IMO
Machida vs Silva and Sanchez vs Alves completely over shadow the main event of Leben Bisping(which will be an exciting fight)!
I cannot wait for this event.

Machida by 3rd TKO
Sanchez by UD
undecided on Leben or Bisping

Machida doesn't have the power to KO Silva. If he wins, it'll be by decision. Again.

Machida might not have the power in his hands but the legs, elbows, and knees he does. Machida by a suprising ko when Silva gets over confident or sloppy. I hate to see Silva lose though but i like Machida better and think he has more skill

Personally I felt that Thiago was exposed in his last fight with Antonio Mendes. I think Machida gets a TKO victory.

I've been wanting to see this fight happen for a while. This should be great. Silva is good, and has a chance, but the elusive and very prepared Machida has the advantage in my opinion. I am glad they put this on the card. When I first read the title, I thought it was gonna be Wand. Oh well.
