Shogun's knee seems to be healing well and he anticipates a return in December.

Shogun vs Rampage 2?
i'd rather see him fight soko first, exciting, and it eases his way back into the mix of things, dont want to rush with with all that ring rust.

I can't wait for Shogun's return. He was obviously not in top form against Griffin. I hope he comes back like a well oiled machine and destroys whoever is put in front of him.

Perhaps all you need is to see any of his performances in Pride to see what he is capable of..he will make forrest gump look like an amateur.

what makes u think he didnt show what he was capable of vs Forrest?
The fact that he was in the worst shape of his career, injury or not.

People still making excuses about Shogun not being Himself when he lost to Forrest.
Hey Cro Cop had some good fights in Pride to....Maybe he wasnt 100% when GG took his head off Or when Kongo beat him.Oh wait Kongo did break Cro Cops rib in that fight and but thats CC fault because he wasnt 100% after that.Seriously let it go already...Eventually everyone loses so stop with all Hey he just got married or his ACL was tore or He had a severe case of blue balls.
If your not 100% dont take a fight and make excuses about it.

No one here is making excuses, fact of the matter was he was in his worse fighting shape of his career regardless, the question being asked is how do you know he wasnt himself in his debut... the fact that he looked like shit. Not knocking forrest, but shogun did look like shit in that fight, which means we didnt see the shogun of yesteryear, simple as that.
