Gary Shaw's future with EliteXC will involve a lot less camera time.
The omnipresent Shaw has been front and center with everything EliteXC since its first show last year. For the time being, though, those days are over as Shaw dials down his front man's role with the promotion.

CBS is at it again. No wonder the UFC wouldn't deal with them. It all comes to light sooner or later. Not that I disagree with CBS on this one.

Good. Gary Shaw's everything is crashing and burning. He just lost his only legitimate champion in boxing, the Marquez/Vazquez trilogy- while incredible to watch and great for boxing- made him a fraction of the money it should have, and he's been making a mockery of MMA through Elite XC.
Hopefully Elite XC can pick it up a bit, their last two events have been garbage with the whole Kimbo/Thompson fiasco and the ridiculously pro-wrestling-esque Diaz brothers vs Noons' dad thing. Both of those were embarassing to watch as a hardcore MMA fan.

By "retooling" are they admitting that Shaw was a tool all along? Thats always been my feeling.
