An update to the sport's pound-for-pound outlook was not expected before last weekend. Forrest Griffin (Pictures) changed that.

His entrance into these rankings also signals a notable exit.

I agree with the list with the exception of Gomi. If Kid drops out from inactivity then how about Gomi?

Griffin has beat both Shogun and Rampage in the last year. I'm seeing that as very deserving for #1. If disagreed with the Sherdog ranking occasionally yet I also see theirs as the most accurate.

At least they have the names of the top 4 right. There is probablyu debate as to what position each one may be in. Personally I think it should go SIlva, GSP, Penn then Fedor. But I think Fedor is gonna spring right back up there once he beats sylvia.

It seems to be just me that thinks Fedor should be numero uno. A Silva is good, but not P4P Champ. It should go

1. Fedor
2. A Silva ( but will switch places with #3 when GSP beats BJ n Fitch)
3. GSP
4. BJ
5. Kid Urijah (TIE so skip the 6th slot)
7. Big Nog
8. Forrest
9. Torres
10. Machida

Honorable Mentions ( no order)

Rampage, Aoki, Liddell, Couture.

Forrest is my favorite fighter. And I love ur opinion, but IMO Forrest isn't Top 5 yet. Once he can defend his belt twice, then we will talk about Top 3.

If he takes Liddell and Machida, or Evans and Machida, He should be #3 ahead of BJ GSP loser, and If he takes Wandy and another opponent( WHICH WILL HAPPEN) #1.

LHW division is so beefed up, that every Championship fight will have both fighters ranking in the Top 25 P4P best in the world.

but lets pray he makes it on the top of Sherdogs list, or Sherdog goes outta business and Forrest goes #1 on Wamma rankings
