my initial question is: i am looking for a diet and exercise plan where i can replace fat with muscle. i am also for looking for any MMA training tips because i can not afford to train at a gym.
BACK ROUND INFO: For the last year and half i have been experimenting with MMA, and love every aspect of it. i have committed myself 100% to MMA by loosing 50 lbs and by training as much as possible. i absolutely love the sport but can not afford to train at a gym because the little money i make goes to insurance and gas for my car. and to ask my parents to pay for it would be out of the question because they make enough to pay the mortgage. I have a boxing record of 6-1-1 with 4 KO's (friend has a 12ft by 12ft grappling mats where we have boxing matches). i have an MMA record of 5-0 with 3 KO's and 1 submission (again held at my friends house). So now i am in search of new ways to train and a new diet to replace fat with muscle.

Burning fat and building muscle at the same time is actually a very hard thing to do. First off you cannot turn fat into muscle,Fat and muscle are two completely different body tissues. Fat simply can't transform into muscle, just like water can't turn into oil.
The physiological processes of building muscle and burning fat are completely unrelated. The combined effect of building muscle and losing fat may appear as though you're turning fat into muscle, but in actual fact, that's just an illusion. Let's take a closer look. Building Muscle
To stimulate muscle growth, you need to activate the anabolic (building) pathways. As you already know, weight training has been the universal tool for building muscle. By challenging the muscle with heavy weights, it has no choice but to respond with increased size and strength. On top of weight training, increasing food intake and using musclebuilding supplements to pack on size are common bodybuilding strategies. Unfortunately, during the musclebuilding phase, bodybuilders usually experience an increase in fat due to increased calorie intake. So even though you get bigger, you will likely lose your shredded appearance.
Burning Fat
Increasing thermogenesis (the body's natural fat-burning process) is the fastest way to burn fat. During a state of increased thermogenesis, your body will burn off excess calories that are stored in your fat cells. Working out at a high intensity is a great way to increase thermogenesis.
Another proven method is thermogenic supplements. It's no secret that every bodybuilder has turned to a thermogenic supplement at some point to increase calorie burning.
The problem with thermogenics is that they don't help the musclebuilding process and many of them can actually cause muscle loss. But that's unacceptable. You want to be big and you want to be shredded. So what can you do about it?
SAMPLE CHEST ROUTINE
Heavy Bench Press 2 warm-up sets X 15 reps (225 lbs.) 3 working sets X 5 reps (405 lbs., 435 lbs., 465 lbs.)
Floor Press 2 sets X 6 reps (325 lbs., 345 lbs.)
Incline Dumbell Press 3 sets X 8 reps (120 lbs., 150 lbs., 150 lbs.)
Flat Dumbell Flyes 3 sets X 15 reps (60 lbs., 70 lbs., 80 lbs.)
SAMPLE LEGS ROUTINE
Deadlifts 4 sets x 8 rep Lunges 4 sets x 8 reps Jumping squats 4 sets x 8 reps
Now as of food, you have to eat the right stuff, do not eat anything with cholestrol, high fat, etc. Try not to take in as much Fructose also.To build muscle you will need to take in calories but at the same time burn em off. (if you want to know more about the food and the diets, ask)
I understand where your coming from on the money issue. But really man, if you want to learn and get good at MMA you will need to join a gym. Yeah you can get as much books, videos, etc. But that will only teach you technique. As you start to roll with opponents as good as you or better, you will realize theres them little things that you cant learn in books. (timing, where and when to shift/put your weight, etc, etc). But for the tim being just keep doing your thing and try to learn as much as you can. If anything else, ask.

Some good advice in there.. to just add.. sometimes if your lucky you can find someone who trains and make friends they may be willing to train you in there free time to help them... I am getting my muay thai training from a man who has over 30 years teaching experience but has some health issues... So I will be standing in for him so he does not have to do the physical aspects.. holding the mits doing the sparring.. so I will be leqarning while assisting him to make it easier on his body... .. Granted your not always going to find a situation.. another thing you might try.. is go to a school.. offeryour services in exchange for training.. example.. say to them.. hey look I really want to train but I honestly can not affoard the money.. could I clean up the school in exchange for taking classes... ... not all schools will do this but it does not hurt to ask...
