celine dion- i know shes not a band, but i have enough hate for her to spread out among an entire symphony
 good list! I guess I am not the only who hates AC/DC.
I thought everyone loved AC/DC too, all there music sounds the same it's like you could put a part of one of there songs in the middle of another one of there's, and there would be no difference.
Most of these have already been listed-
Fall out boy
My chemical romance
Panic at the Disco
I can stand "punk pop" mainly because i thought that punk is suposed to be the exact opposite of Pop.

I like Linkin Park. Not there new album though.
Any band that sells out, or just plays what is popular. Anything "emo" or that whiney voice.

Most house music, though i like hardcore techno.
Anything top 40.
As for Van Halen, its about the guitar to me. And AC/DC, i never got into them, but i dont mind there stuff. I was bought up on it, being a bit of a bogan family from Australia.

Hootie and the Blowfish were absolutely awful... The bad things was when they started i bouth the damn CD. A few weeks later, the milk turned sour.

Pretty much ANY "rock" band thats out there today. You suck. Give your mom back her make-up kit and quit "playing" guitar and screaming like a 14 year old girl. Its such a shame that guys with such phenominal talent like John Petrucci, Alexi Laiho, Zakk Wylde, and Dave Mustaine, all get ignored because they play a type of music that appeals to maybe 15% of the population.
Specific bands?
Avenged Sevenfold, and the nuthuggers who think M. Shadows is the greatest thing to ever happen to the world, and that Synyster Gates is the best guitar player ever. HE'S NOT, AND HE ISN'T. Deal with it, they are both HORRIBLE at what they do. Gratz, you scream uselessly into a microphone and sound like you have crap, LITERALLY, coming out of your mouth. And Gates? Not even gonna touch that, aside from, he's the most OVERRATED guitar player ever, and when people put him on a Top 10 Guitar Players list and leave out guys like Tony Iommi, Steve Vai, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Yngwie Malmsteen and the such, it makes me absolutely SICK.
Dragonforce too. They seem to be the casual rock fans favorite "metal" band. Everyone who watches MTV and their neighbor sees one Dragonforce video or plays their song on Guitar Hero(which totally ruined them, gave them WAY too much exposure for my liking)and all of a sudden Herman Li and Sam Totman become gods. They speed their garbage up in studio, and they can't play for crap live. The biggest test for a band is to play their music live, make it good and keep the energy up. When your playing your songs SLOWER then they should be, your in trouble. Quit nuthugging, and accept the fact that Herman Li is FAR FROM the best guitarist out there right now, let alone ever.
Quick apology, music is a subject that I take very seriously, being a musician myself. Just my opinion, if you don't like it, too bad.

I dont mind listening to DragonForce, but not for one second am i saying that they are the greatest guitarists going round. Fast dont mean good. Unfortunately, im in that 15%, and i cannot stand the shit they play on the radio. Its an absolute disgrace, the best music in the world is being left off the radio because teeny boppers dont like it.

Boy bands of course. Good Charlette and Simple Plan.
I also hate Blue October especially. "Hate Me" is the biggest load of crap. My one friend dated a complete ***hole who constantly cheated on her and when she finally dumped him he used that song in an attempt to make her feel bad.
Its crazy how some bands try to make the asses out to be the good guys. But it seems like an attracts an audience so..
I don't know who the singer is but she has a song called "(I don't wanna be a)Murderer" Same BS message. The cheater is the victim. I almost want to put a bullet in these ppl's heads for such a stupid message

Three things I personally dislike (hate is too strong a word for opinions on music I think): Anything Country, Coldplay and Teenage Pop Music). These are the only 3 things I go out of my way to avoid.

I dont think Nirvana suck, they are just severly over rated. There was that much better grunge going around in that same area, at that exact time, Nirvana just happened to be the one who was most popular. If Cobain didnt die, then they would have just faded out like most bands do. If you want to listen to Nirvana, but better, listen to Alice In Chains, Mother Love Bone, Temple Of The Dog, SoundGarden, Pearl Jam, i could go on for days...
