Ok I have a few gripes with these standings. Ok first HW's. How on earth Eddie Sanchez is on this list is beyond me. I know the talent pool in the HW division is weak but having Herring at 5 is ridiculous as well. For LW not having Machida number three is a joke. With WW I think Matt Hughes should be dropped lower. Enough with repping him just because he's the greatest WW champ of all time. He no longer can compete with the new athlete in MMA. In light weight the largest joke of them all to me is having Tyson Griffin ranked eight. They have Gray Maynard ranked above him.

I think these would make more sense
HW: Eddie Sanchez is nowhere near the list.
I'd put Antoni Hardonk in his place Move Gonazaga to 5, Herring to 4
LHW: Move Liddell to 5, Machida to 3 Move Rashad to 7, Sokoudjou to 10 Move Silva(Thiago) to 8, Jardine to 9
MW: I agree with the standings
WW: Move Koscheck to 3, Alves to 4, Karo to 5, Swick to 7, Hughes to 8, Serra to 9
LW: Move Griffin to 6, Maynard to 7, Rich Clementi to 8, Edgar off the list

Critique for HW's- Where is Jake O'Brien?? and Randy needs an asterik.
Light Heavyweights
1: Forrest Griffin 2: Quinton "Rampage" Jackson 3: Chuck Liddell 4: Wanderlei Silva 5: Lyoto Machida 6: Mauricio "Shogun" Rua 7: Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou 8: Keith Jardine 9: Rashad Evans 10: Thiago Silva Notable: Matt Hamill
Critique- I agree with this except for a guy down or up in certain spots but a good list.
Middleweights
1: Anderson Silva 2: Rich Franklin 3: Yushin Okami 4: Dan Henderson 5: Thales Leites 6: Nathan Marquardt 7: Patrick Cote 8: Michael Bisping 9: Ricardo Almeida 10: Demian Maia Notable: Chris Leben, Kendall Grove
Critique- Either Leben, Kampmann or Jason MacDonald should be on this list over Ricardo Almeida very sorry. ANother honourable could be Palhares he is going to be a force.
Welterweights
1: Georges St. Pierre 2: Jon Fitch 3: Thiago Alves 4: Matt Hughes 5: Josh Koscheck 6: Diego Sanchez 7: Karo Parisyan 8: Matt Serra 9: Akihiro Gono 10: Mike Swick Notable: Dong Hyun Kim
Hughes ranked a little to high as is Thiago, Davis takes one loss and disappears from the top ten?????
Lightweights
1: BJ Penn 2: Sean Sherk 3: Joe Stevenson 4: Kenny Florian 5: Roger Huerta 6: Gray Maynard 7: Frankie Edgar 8: Tyson Griffin 9: Nate Diaz 10: Joe Lauzon Notable: Rich Clementi
Another good list but I would put Daddy ahead of the Shark.

Manny Gamburyan deserves mention at LW as he beat Lauzon on the show and has a close decision loss to Sherk. He would have beat Diaz in the finale if his shoulder wasn't injured. He at the very least desrves a "notable" mention as I believe he could beat a few guys on that top 10 list and be competitive with the rest.
Plus he has a win over Jorge Santiago who is a 185er !!!

Randy Couture is no longer in the UFC.
What happened to Marcus Davis. He was pushing top five on a lot of peoples lists and now he is forgotten.
These lists are always contraversial I like them for the most part.

You have the #1 in each category right, and that's about it.
You have a top ranked HW that isn't even going to fight in the UFC again, and you have the guy that is getting the next title shot down at the bottom?
I dont even know where to start with your LHW rankings.... I dont know where you get off ranking Soko at 7 and Shogun at 6. NEITHER one of them are top 10 yet. Shogun has 1 fight and 1 Loss at LHW in the UFC.
Rankings are actual standings, not who you like best as a fighter. Use logic. IE your head, not your heart

These standings aren't my own. I pulled them off a site which I have the link at the top of the post. I can't understand how Cain Velasquez is a top 10 HW when he has only had one fight.

Because the UFC HW division has been neutered ever since the end of 2007.

A fighter that is 0-1 in the UFC deserves to be in the top 10 Heavyweights?
Um... no.
But if he destroys Heath without mercy, then sure, I'll go with that.
