with all of the chatter about cote not deserving the next title shot, im wondering who you think is the least deserving guy to get a title shot in the ufc. a couple of names that come to mind are tiger white, who got a shot at chuck despite coming off 3 losses and a draw in his previous 4 fights including 2 straight losses, and matt serra, and i dont think i need to explain this one. any other contenders?

Some people might argue Randy's shot at Tim, coming after two losses to Chuck and a win over van Arsedale.
Joe Riggs and his shot against Hughes. His only win in the UFC prior to that was one over Lytle

Andre Pederneira (UFC 21) - 2nd career fight, 1st fight in the UFC. his only fight was a win over Rumina Sato but come on, his second fight of his career was for a UFC belt
John Lober (UFC Brazil) - he was winless in his last 6 fights leading up to his shot, he never had fought in the UFC before and he was 3-5-2 when he fought Shamrock for the title. i think he is the most undeserved of all time.

I might be mistaken... But didn't Lober Have a previous win over shamrock?? Not saying he was the most deserving at that time for a title shot... But I think that was more for shamrock's sake than lober's... Unless I've totally F*cked up and am thinking of a different fighter...

They needed a replacement for Guy Mezgar.

you are 100% right, but the shot itself was undeserved. Lober went 0-5-1 after he defeated Shamrock the first time, which makes it undeserved imo.
