No Gi style grappling.

Anyone have any good back escapes (hooks in,when im sitting down), im working on not letting them even get to the back but when the do, i need to no some good escapes. My choke defense isn't that bad, chin is usually down/shoulders up,and if im not working for anything ill put the choke on me so they cant get it. But then im just stuck there. And for a tournament (grappling, which i have in 1 month) if someone gets the back thats alot of points (4 points in this tourny) and thats enough. I no them "armbars" you can rarely get and they dont work, i need a escape. I no how to fall on the side and roll into them, i no one where you take there foot throw it off and roll in. And i think some other ones. But when you in action and there actualy trying to choke you its hard to get those. So if anyone has anything they can share with me, that would be great. Thanks

Some possible attacks:
- catch their arm in your armpit and straight armbar
- if they bend the arm from ^^ then kimura and turn into them
- if they cross ankles over then figure 4 with your own feet
- if their leg end up posting between your legs reach between your own legs, grab their heel and kneebar

Some possible escapes
- take their arm above the opposite shoulder (i.e. right arm over your left shoulder or vice-versa) and turn in that direction
- lie on your side, peel off one foot and turn in
- ball up tightly, post on your head and push his feet and legs away until he's riding too high and you can escape through the backdoor

If all of that seems like it still isn't enough, that's because you're stuck in a very inferior and very common position. A guy who gets you there is likely going to be very tough to sub or shake from that position.

try to double grip onto one of their arms to pin it on your opposite shoulder. from there you can straight turn into it, or wait until they try to adjust their weight and position to get proper control again, and then go for the feet to break their hooks, and then turn into their guard from there.
