Did you say Brown?

Looks to me like he did. Of course I'm going with Faber, nothing against Brown as he had a pretty good first opponent in Jeff Curran (who of course himself was coming off a loss to Faber) and he's already a Top 10 Featherweight but I think he needs one or two more fights.

Leonard Garcia will most likely be on this card too. His federal charges were dropped and his state charges weren't serious. Woohoo! Looks like a solid card. Possibly the last WEC with MW or LHWs included.

The East Coast-West Coast war is on. Urijah Faber vs. Mike Thomas Brown (Mike Brown) for the WEC Featherweight Title is official. Also, the location of the event is likely going to be the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida, which sort of makes it a hometown fight for Brown.

Interesting item from Junkie on this card: They've been told Munoz vs. Steinbeiss is a "win or go home" fight. The winner is headed to UFC. The loser is out. This likely is a product of UFC folding the Middleweights & Light Heavyweights from WEC into UFC, both Munoz & Steinbeiss are Light Heavyweights.

Nice motivation eh? Should be an all out war then.
Very interesting card, though. Glad there's only a month layoff or so. I'm just disappointed they're trying to make Torres wait until December.

Jeff Curran's waiting until December 3 for his next fight too, but he'll be dropping to Bantamweight for that one. Too bad it'll be almost 3 more months before the next card after this one, but the UFC bringing in some of the bigger guys might be partly why.

I can help but wonder why the strikeforce/cage rage card was added to the secondary league today but WEC 36 wasn't. WEC comes before those events. This looks like a kick ass card to me!

Check the Game Talk forum. This card will be added soon-part of the delay is the WVR card tomorrow is the end of the current season, so there's a little bit of a delay due to the circumstances.

There don't seem to be a lot of people picking Garcia. I myself am taking Pulver getting the decision win and taking the first step to a potential Faber rematch next year should Urijah not lose before then. As for Faber, I think he'll get the submission against Brown in the middle or later rounds. I've got it in round 3.
Edit: As for the MW Title rematch, I'm rolling the dice on history potentially repeating itself and taking Sonnen.
