It seems that Antonio SIlva has an opponent for his fight on EliteXC's 7/26 card to determine the promotion's first heavyweight champion. Silva & Justin Eilers have verbally agreed to the fight, and it's likely to be signed soon even though Eilers was not EXC's first choice of opponents for SIlva.

Eilers does have a lot of power in his hands, but i think Silva will take it to the mat farely quickly and end up with the submission win.....

This is shaping up to be a very solid card. Hopefully its better than the last cbs show.

I like Silva in this too. I agree that this card is shaping up to be solid. Great month of MMA.

Why wasnt the first show like this? This would have gotten people behind EliteXC. I fear they have already turned too many people away for this show to help them at all.

IDK about Silva getting a sub....he's only ever really pulled one ever. what I would be worried about is a GNP TKO....Silva has size, strength and ground control but Justin has done decently against big sluggers in the past....and yes I know of his 3 in a row ko losses. I just think he's ging to pull an upset here.

If we're lucky Eilers with pull of the KO with the 1,2, Binx
But In all seriousness I'm taking Eilers, I don't much care for Silva, and personally feel Silva last to "Ricco Suave".
To get back on track, I'm taking Eilers by KO.
