There's a theater going in about 10 minutes away from where I live that is going to be $35 admission for a movie.
I'll probably check it out once just to see what it's like.
"plush, reclining seats equipped with call buttons for service, allowing them to order gourmet food, wine and cocktails from the theater's restaurant."
"Each of the eight auditoriums will have wide screens but no more than 40 seats arranged in pairs with ample legroom. The theater's restaurant and lounge will be open only to moviegoers. An online booking service will enable people to choose their seats; valets will park their cars."

The Emagine Theater by my house has a Shooters Club that has all or at least most of those things...I don't remember it being quite that pricey though. IMO 35 is a bit expensive for a single ticket.

35 bucks just to watch a movie, have someone else park my 97 Hyundai,I wonder how much food and drinks are on top of the $35..Id rather spend $20 a car load and load up the cooler with cheap beer and leftovers and hit up the drive-in..Plus i can smoke in my car and try and do naughty things with girls.

If food and drinks are included, I would. Otherwise no. $12-15 around here is bad enough as it is considering it's just as much for popcorn & sodas.

My first reaction was "no F'n way". But the more I thought about it, the more I'd like to sit in a comfy chair, not have my feet stick to the floor, avoid the teenagers that just came from hangin-out at the mall, real food, and, most importantly, it's not opera or (off-)Broadway.
So hell yeah, once. Then I'm done and ready to complain about $9 tix again.

I would if they were showing a UFC or other decent MMA card.
For a movie? No. I get Netflix for about a buck a movie.
