I agree. It's bad. At least in the case of Penn. Penn isn't likely to fight every three months. Silva might. I don't think Penn could win the title at WW again, so I think we're safe.

If he beats Irvin, I hope they give him Liddel or Wanderlei (which ever isnt getting the title shot next.) If not them, then Shogun but that would be awhile. Anyways, in middle weight he will fight Okami and then idk who. Perhaps a rematch with Henderson or someone lower in the division.
So I hope the schedule looks like this for Silva. Irvin (LHW) OkamI (MW) Chuck or Wanderlei (LHW) #1 contender (MW)
I doubt the two weight class thing will last long, eventually someone is going to stop SIlva in a higher weight class.

Lol, have you been noticing a show called TUF lately? I think thats already causing title delays. As long as the Champ is willing to fight every three months, he should be allowed to do this. I wouldn't mind BJ fighting guys at MW but I just think it would be better for him to stay where he is and for now defend the title a few times.
Fighting in two weight classes is only ment for champs who clean out the division and right now, Anderson is the only guy who has been able to do that.

I think it's bad because of the time it will take between defenses. Plus if the champ gets injured two classes go a long time without defenses.

Yushin okami is next. After that who knows. Anderson is moving to 205 because he's a ******* warrior and just wants to fight more/better opponents. I dont think there are too many people at 185 willing to fight anderson. The ufc will have a hard time getting marketable number 1 contenders every 3 months if he stays @ 185. IMO give him rampage right away after he beats irvin.

I'd say okami's next for MW. But if he fights at LHW again, I'd say give him another build up fight. Tim Boetsch would be good.
