I am going to throw Anthony Johnson out there just because nobody else mentioned him.
I can agree with that. Out of the list definitely Cain Velasquez, though. Pretty much all of these guys have some great futures, though.

Cain is no joke I think pretty much anyone from ACS is going to have a bright future in the UFC especially Cain and CB. Great wrestler with great power which leads me to believe he would have great Take Down defense training with wrestlers of that caliber so its a really dangerous skill set. Keep improving the hands and that is a huge threat to the weak HW division. CHampion in perhaps as soon as 2 years if all pans out for him and I don't see Carwin ever being champ so I would have to go with Cain.
Cain is actually training out of AKA now

Well he has been around for a while, this is just new guys with only 1 or 2 fights, he has had 3 already and been in the UFC over a year, but yeah he is a serious prospect at 170, knew that when he faired so well with Clementi and I realised how big and strong he is, i thought he was just a striker at first but his wrestling is really good.
Dong Hyun Kim looked good and they want him to be a star to get Korean fans but I dunno how many fights he can win at 170 cos its stacked now! Tough decision to come into that! in fact ......
WW is the best I think, we havnt lost any of the best guys, Alves/Kos/Diego have just got better, Hughes and Karo dropping a bit but have gained so many top contenders like Yoshida and now guys like Hazelett and Johnson have put themselves in more ppls eyes
MW is there for the taking and so ................ AMIR! for 1-0 that guy is a serious prospect!

I'm really really not sold on Velasquez yet. I think he's been fed the perfect opponents for him thus far. I may still pick him in certain matchups, but I don't think he's the prospect he's made out to be.
Shane Carwin, on the other hand, is Brock Lesnar with more experience. I definitely see him earning a title shot.

I'm not sure he counts as a prospect but Demian Maia is pretty sick

I know this is going to to sound bizzare at first but hear me out on this.
I think the number one prospect the UFC has going for them is Wanderlei Silva. I know,I know, the guy has been around forever and isn't the youngest, but to a lot of newer fans the first glimps they got of Silva was when he stepped in the Octagon against Liddell.Silva impressed a lot of people who figured this dude was just going to be a part of Liddells highlight reel. Then he goes and drops Jardine like a bad habit.I've even herd people on these forums admitting they never really got to see Silva fight, but are now becoming "Axe Murderer" fans.
To me it's like his career in America is a new start with a fresh audience.Us fans of his have known he's had the goods all along, but the rest of the world is just now catching up.He may not be the youngest guy stepping in the octagon, but it's not like he's a grandpa either. If Silva can continue to impress I think he will gain legions of fans on par with more familiar faces in America.

Andre Gusmao looks pretty good, although he's in arguably the toughest division.

My thoughts are that Cain is the younger guy. He's got more years ahead of him in the HW division (should he stay there his whole career) than Carwin. In the long run the UFC may have made a better deal with Velasquez than with Carwin. Sure Carwin is at least quicker in winning than Velasquez right now, but age will take affect and slow him down. At some point I would think that Velasquez either has to get better or slow down himself, and I don't see Velasquez as the type who goes Ricco Rodriguez on us. I predict that after Fedor gives up and retires we'll see a guy like Velasquez as the new Fedor.
