Alcohol is one of the biggest contributing factors in the out of control antics of some of the young fighters. It mirrors society though. Jesse's antic were out of control sure but obviously he was "allowed" to act like that in his life previous to TUF. I would not allow any alcoholic consumption during the weeks the fighters are on TUF. PERIOD.
Drunk jock + alcohol usually = childish bullying, aggressive, out of control and generally destructive behavior. Jesse Taylor was the guy who gave the nerds "swirlies" in the locker room. Jesse Taylor was the guy who pulled the geeks underwear over his head. Jesse Taylor is the guy wrecking everything at a house party.
You are what your parents make you. Was Jesse Taylor's father a jock himself?
The apple doesn't fall far from the tree usually....or maybe Jesse was the nerd originally and his antics are trying to compensate for his obvious inferiority complexes.
Dana White did the right thing for every reason.
He showed that he doesn't want those type of people to represent the UFC.
He showed that he doesn't want those type of people to represent MMA....and maybe he will send a message to all the younger or immature viewers watching that behavior like that is not acceptable......ANYWHERE.
One thing can be said for sure....just because someone is a Mixed Martial Artist....it doesn't mean that they are a true Martial Artist. Jesse Taylor can fight....but one must have control his "own temple" before he can do anything else.
If you don't have control of yourself....you are out of control...........

If you dont understand it is how bad it is what they are doing something is missing from your personality.

First off, a lot of impressionable young adults watch this show. This message of destroyuing things and getting drunk is not the message you want to send across.

If you don't understand it is how bad it is what you are doing, something is missing from your education: grammar.

Lighten up everyone! Stupid people doing stupid things are everywhere, it's up to the individual to be smart or follow like sheep.

I don't think "young adults" are as impressionable as you think. I mean geez if you're over 18 and you're trying to imitate antics from a TV show there's something seriously wrong with you, and you're in the minoriy.

Everyone wants these guys to be class acts because they're "representing the sport". I think people get too caught up in that. Just like Floyd Mayweather is a boxer, hes not representing the sport. Leave that stuff to guys like Dana White. If people think these guys are meatheads and bufoons (and a few of them obviously are) who cares?

We're not trying to fool them into thinking these guys are all college scholars. MMA isn't going to be more recognized in the sporting world because it has a bunch of intelligent fighters, it's going to grow because there are great fighters, period.

don't care what they do in or outside of the house as long as they can fight.

Actually, if you follow what the UFC does when lobbying a state to regulate MMA, this is the opposite of what they're preaching. One of the points they try to stress is that MMA fighters are not a bunch of hooligans who get into bar fights...as well as the fact that the majority of the UFC's roster have a college education. So, from that respect, the show is counterproductive.

I have mixed feelings on this. JT is obviously a mongolian retard which explains his behavior, and yeah its bad for MMA and UFC rep, but good god, kick out the best fighter on the show? weak. Ruined the finale. Instead of seeing Amir and the retard bash each other for 3 rounds, we saw a rerun of a previous fight in fast forward. ZZzzzz
