To be honest, I actually like this main event. I mean, I dont like it as much as Sherk/Penn, or Sylvia/Nog, but I think it's pretty solid.
A lot of people like to rag on Evans (and I can definately respect that) but he is still undefeated. We really have to find out if Evans is the real deal (even if he is dubbed as a "Lay n Prayer"). He is 6-0-1 and I think he deserves in principle a chance with a Top 5 guy in Liddell.
Now, the main concern for me is how the rest of the card will be played out. If by some chance they are able to get Henderson/Franklin in, Bisping vs. somebody, Sherk vs. Gray Maynard etc... they could easily make a good card. Its still roughly 3 months away so I trust that the UFC can deliver (especially since they were able to deliver for UFC 85).

Am I the only one that likes this matchup? Because, to me, I think this is going to be a better fight than people imagine. Although I think Chuck will win with a 3rd round TKO. I believe Rashad will push him more than people are saying.

Also theres a darn good chance that there are going to be some other awesome matchups on this card.

Chuck has made a career of knocking out wrestlers and this fight will be no different. Chuck has faced wrestlers with a lot more ability than Rashad and this will just be another day in the office for Chuck as he will sprawl and brawl his way to a 2nd round stoppage imho.

It's hard to fault the UFC for making this matchup because Evan's is undefeated. But it does seem like they're making an easy road for Chuck to get a title shot. How many times does Quentin have to knock Chuck out anyways? Personally I'd really like to see Chuck move up into the heavyweights.

A lot of people thought the Silva fight was amazing, maybe I'm in the minority here but to me it looked like the fight took on a sparring mach quality. I wasn't that impressed and I think it's a slap in the face to other contenders to give Chuck another shot after two victories. At some point the favoritism has to end.

The LHW division is stacked, so give some of the other guys who have earned it a shot before we start having rematches (I'm going with the assumption that Quentin beats Griffin).

Like most people have said, this should be a KO victory for Chuck. Should be.

I don't think it will be as easy as everyone's predicting though and i think Chuck will win a UD (as long as he is fully healed and 100% fit that is)

Rashad is not undefeated just by luck and if Chuck isn't 100% prepared (which i think he will be) then Rashad could take the LnP decision.

Please don't tell me this is what the 'Massive' announcement from Dana was. Coupled with the action figure line I don't think I can contain myself any longer....
