its not going to be a numbered event if its not on ppv

There have been numbered events not on PPV.

what you mean back years ago when they lost the ppv deals? yeah great well done, thats totally relevant, all i ever said was theres no real reason why this WOULDNT be a ufc fight night and a ufc event with a name, why do you have to get so upset and defensive about stuff like that?

In answer to the thread, cos you were crying i wasnt going that, i think it will be caled "UFC Fight Night" it may be given a crappy name to make it sound more special but i doubt it being 85.5 tbh imho if i can please mr mma god

UFC 75 was aired on Spike, but originally I think it was supposed to be on HBO... then the deal didn't go through.

exactly dude, it was also going to be on ppv for a brief period before spike took it on, the point is it was far in advance and always a big proper ufc event that would be numbered - this event is quite different and i just think it should be called a ufc fight night? why not? i dont think they can make it BETTER than the recent FN cards so would be a bit rich to give it a flashy name that suggest its bigger and better than the FN card on spike

Ummmmmm guys it says it will be on spike tv, so why wouldnt it be a ufc fight night? its not going to be a numbered event if its not on ppv

Tho if its on some network channel they may do a new style with no number "UFC -NAME-" im just thinking this could still be linked in with that HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT we get tomorrow

You mean like UFC 75 was a numbered UFC on Spike.

Back on topic, it should say 86.5 not 85.5.

Hmmmmmm now this is weird cos it seems ............... shockingly ...................... i was correct and it is called ufc fight night

And if you have good "READING COMPREHENSION" you will notice i never said there hadnt been numbered events on spike, i said this one would not be numbered if it was not on ppv, cos of it being in the US and not UK like 75, LMFAO at fedorsohotrightnow thinking he "OWNED" me by "correcting" me on nothing

My original post WAS ON TOPIC - you asked what i thought it would be called and i said UFC FIGHT NIGHT so who was right then?

Yea, I think it will be like the Tito/Shamrock event where they just name it after the main event.

Actually other members arent grudge filled cry babies like you! and most of your posts have been directed at me or nuthugging bisping so very much doubt anyone wants more moob posts! go back to your hit pit ......... is your S key broke or something

It is said to be a UFC FIGHT NIGHT, the tito shamrock one was called final chapter wasnt it? see i thought they may do one like that but would need a meaningful main event like you said pookie, dont think silva moving up quite does it

not so much a problem as just making a joke about its great name! but now that you mention it you guys are a bit OTT with the advertising of an mma site on another mma site, but if they dont mind then thats fair enough i spose, i can get my mma news and articles much quicker and better elsewhere thanks very much though

ah so when people post news this here with links to mmaweekly and mmanania etc that isn't advertising another mma site?? hmmm yeah ok

plus i don't see anywhere on our site that says its there for news, if you took time to read it you would see why its there an what we are doing,

ok so you have something against me and the other guys involved but don't sit there and criticize the work we are doing to help the sport in the UK. when you take money out of your own pocket to help pay for a fighters training etc then you come back to me
